Liaising with Manufacturing Engineers, Operations Managers and Program Directors, you’ll be given the opportunity to learn about many different aspects of CBN and make key contributions that continually improve and streamline the quality management system. What you will do: The core performance objectives of the position are as follows: Develop and implement quality control plans that ensure compliance to all specifications and standards; Audit process centers for conformance to product specifications; Employ statistical quality control (SQC) methodologies to monitor and maintain the quality of products and identify and analyze any quality problems; Track non-conformances, recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce/eliminate reoccurrences; monitor and analyze the effectiveness of corrective actions; Identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of quality control initiatives. What will help you succeed: Knowledge/Experience University degree/College diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Computer) or printing related field; Knowledge, understanding and application of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards; Knowledge, understanding and application of continuous improvement processes and tools (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, PDCA, etc.); Computer skills – MS Office; statistical software; business intelligence software; database experience. Soft Skills Analytical and (creative) problem solving skills; Wisdom and good judgment; Attention to detail; Time management skills; Communication skills – verbal, written. Our mandatory requirements are that you be eligible for Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance and are able to travel to the United States upon occasion
