THE OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE: You have picked the perfect time to advance your career, Camp Australia are seeking an child care professional to lead a small and warm OOSH program. The kids: Let’s be honest, people work in child care because of kids, at this school the children are sensational!! It’s only a small program of approx. 8 children but these kids are inclusive, kind, warm natured and beyond friendly to educators and the other kids at the program. These little humans have huge personalities, they love to eat their afternoon tea and finish off their homework, then get started into handball, arts, crafts, cooking and fun little projects. The space: Your program will be run from the school hall. This area has recently been painted and gets amazing natural warm light. On top of this, you’ve got full access to the outside paly area including sports fields and the basketball courts. The space also includes a storeroom to keep all your resources neat and tidy AND a kitchen so you can do cooking activities with the kids on site. The community: The program is run from a fantastic primary school that really support Camp Australia and what you do. The principal is very engaged and from time to time will pop in to have a chat and get to know your educators. The parents are equally as supportive too! The parents often provide great feedback around the running of the program and the engagement from educators. These parents are always keen to hear about their child’s day. REQUIREMENTS TO WORK IN THIS ROLE Ideally have at least 6+ months prior Hold or willing to obtain an Employee WWCC Hold or willing to obtain HLTAID004 First Aid Full availability to work Monday to Friday between 7-9am & 2-30-6pm SOME REASON PEOPLE LOVE WORKING FOR CAMP AUSTRALIA: Permanent Part Time role: guaranteed hours, annual leave, sick leave and access to bonuses Get paid for all the hours you work with additional paid admin time each week Amazing genuine financial benefits available around performance and commitment Ongoing training and development available.
