With this track record and a strong desire from the leadership to maintain growth AND the values of the organisation, there is a need to structure and manage CHR for the next phase of growth. As a part of our strategic development plan, we require an experienced Finance leader who can grow with the business and deliver excellent financial strategy, management and transparency. In addition, we believe that the Operations function of CHR should come under this individual, either immediately or after a period of time, dependent upon the profile of the successful candidate. The importance of this role means it will report to the CEO. Candidate Profile Qualified accountant A track record of successfully managing the finances of small to medium enterprise(s), preferably within a professional services business model A track record of involvement with leadership, strategic and operational decision making. The Finance & Operations Director is expected to be involved in the business NOT just to manage the finances A track record of successfully managing staff, such that they have clear roles, opportunities to develop, and a highly positive approach to the business A track record of clear communication at all levels of the business, both in writing and verbally. We expect the Finance & Operations Director to be visible within the organisation and to be an important communicator of strategy and plans Preferably, experience in the management of the daily operations of a professional services business – managing and reporting on everyday and occasional costs of the business Experience with finance and operating systems. We expect the Finance & Operations Director to advise the Board on systems that support the goals and growth aspirations of the business Experience with financial planning. We expect the Finance & Operations Director to support the Board in building and monitoring the annual and strategic financial plans for CHR Alignment with the values of CHR.
