We currently are looking for an adaptable, motivated, dedicated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Expectations include but are not limited to: Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and posting. Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Update and maintain vendor database Reconcile vendor statements Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Processing cheques and direct deposit runs Audit and verify expenses reports Maintain account payable files Requirements: Post-Secondary Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payables position. Familiarity with accounting system (Simply Accounting/ADP/Cortex). Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
