We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac Catheter Lab at Cairns Private Hospital. We have positions available on a casual basis for nurses with experience and training in an acute hospital setting. About the Role The Cairns Private Hospital Cardiac Catheter Laboratory is fully operational and catering for private and public patients. Situated between the resident cardiologist's clinic and the intensive/coronary care unit the cardiac catheter laboratory provides the community with a valuable, lifesaving diagnostic service. We are seeking professional and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. You will be required to have exceptional customer service and time management skills with flexibility around hours and available to be on call. As the Registered Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered. You will support and be working across both Cardiac Catheter Lab and Cardiac Recovery Area. To be successful you will be a committed team player and thrive in working within a varied and fast paced environment. In this role, you will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager with proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required. About you You will need to have the following: Relevant registration with AHPRA Ability to scout/scrub for Coronary Angiograms/ Angioplasties/PPM Minimum of (3) three years’ experience post AHPRA registration in an acute hospital environment Why Ramsay? This hospital is also equipped with The da Vinci surgical system, allowing surgeon’s to operate high-tech instrumentation with greater dexterity and precision than other minimally invasive techniques. Remuneration $70,697 - $90,715 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
