CSSi South Africa seeks to expand its business in Durban and its surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of IT equipment, and for data recovery. This role is offered on a contract period. Main Duties: - Bring in new sales - Grow sales - Expanding database of clients - Experience in the IT industry - People skills - Strong negotiating skills - Receive and answer enquiries via email and telephone - Liase and follow up with clients - Quoting and Invoicing - Achieving monthly targets Qualifications and Experience: - Good communication and people skills, with a dynamic personality and good presentation - Good to excellent customer relations skills - Sound working knowledge of the IT industry - Certificates and impressive employment reference letters is an advantage - The ability to communicate at senior management or executive level, both internally and with external clients Behavioral Dimensions: - Able to handle people and extract their best - Ability to work well under pressure - Process, organisation and procedure capability to ensure quality delivery or execution - Able to handle conflict and manage problem situations internally and externally - Good inter-personal skills, good listener - Rational and capable of both making and supporting decisions - Perform well within a team orientated business model, confident and ability to promote a high morale with the company Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience: Matric exemption and minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing. Experience in an IT related position, or an IT marketing position, with a proven track record would be a bonus. Skills in operating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook Exchange and Calendar functions. Minimum typing skill level of 30 WPM (Words per minute), with an accuracy of over 90%+ Own vehicle and valid driver’s license. Articulate and professional in conversing with clients and great communication skills Ability to balance work life and personal life, with well-being and healthy background Manage stress and deadlines and a proven record of such. The ability to communicate at Management level; both internally and with external clients.
