IT Systems Administrator Reporting to the Director, Technology Services, the Systems Administrator provides support for all CNB networks, development activities and coordinates IT network and systems-related projects with the production floor. Network and systems duties include the following: Providing end-to-end service and support for Windows Server, AD Users, and network infrastructure for the department using IT best practices in order to ensure reliable IT service operations. Analyzing, documenting, and remediating issues. Deploying, supports, and maintains computing, telephony, printing devices and mail service for end-users. Creating and modifying configurations for equipment and systems. Documenting systems and services. Monitoring and reporting on Software used by Sales department, Production and Shipping. Contributing to the creation of IT policies, processes and standards, including IT Security. Identifying user needs. Deploy Infrastructure projects that will include Hardware Installations, Network Cabling Build Custom windows 10 Images Project coordinator key duties include the following: tracking and reporting on the status of project milestones; keeping notes and other meeting material such as records of design solutions and decisions; scheduling and logistical preparation for meetings; working with clients and members of the production team to gather information, business needs, and functional specifications for projects; and contributing to the development of project plans, system specifications reports and contracts. Education: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience required. Completion of other related certifications or qualifications in systems engineering and network administration, such as CCNE, or MSCE, would be an asset. Experience: Minimum two (2) years of comprehensive experience managing and supporting information technology infrastructures (including but not limited to local area and larger networks) Deep technical understanding of IT server software/hardware and network infrastructure Intermediate skills in Virtualization (Hyper-V. VMware) Intermediate to advanced skills in Windows OS (server and desktop environments); Enterprise Active Directory, IIS administration; DNS/DHCP/LDAP; Databases (SQL Server, MySQL); NAS/SAN Storage; Enterprise backup solutions Advanced skills in Scripting, Networking equipment and services, including load balancers, switches, access points and VPNs Experience with IT Security as it relates to hardware and software for servers, network equipment, and desktops Service Desk/Support/Customer Service skills End-user software applications (Office, Creative Suite, etc.) Familiarity with server maintenance and backup programs Experience in gathering and analyzing technical requirements; excellent project coordination skills Experience with other web development frameworks would be an asset Knowledge of Spiceworks for Inventory, Support and infrastructure Monitorig Other: Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills; demonstrated superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; highly self-motivated and self-directed; strong service orientation; attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the highest-possible quality and accuracy; demonstrated ability to work independently, showing initiative and good judgment; demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and to work well under pressure; ability to work with confidential information; ability to draft written materials for review and distribution; adept at explaining technical concepts to a wide variety of non-technical users both orally and in writing; ability to learn quickly from technical reference manuals and on-line help facilities; strong team player with a sense of urgency when required; ability to maintain technical knowledge of emerging web-related technologies and trends; must be able to work with a large number of people from diverse backgrounds. experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with exposure to mentoring or coaching staff.
