Provide computer operations support for various computer systems of C&ED The candidate will be required to: (i) work shift duties (including overnight shift) in Data Centres to provide operation support for computer systems and perform system & network monitoring (ii) perform site preparation support including outdoor work (iii) provide help desk support of office automation, PC LAN support, etc. to end users Skills: Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent At least 2 years of working experience as an IT Assistant At least two years working experience in operating mid-range computer systems or data centre working experience, with basic understanding to Unix server operation and PC LAN support It is highly desirable that the candidate has practical experience in PC installation support, MS-Word, MS-Excel, Lotus Notes and Chinese Character Input, etc. Apart from above, holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate qualification is preferred and site preparation experience will be an advantage The job requires the following mandatory skills: 2 Years x batch job monitoring 2 Years x System Backup Operation 1 Year x Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work 1 Year x Moderate Exposure in Written English Notes: Contact Information: If interested for the above position, please send detailed resume with academic information, work experience, current & expected salary via: [email removed] The personal information is collected strictly for recruitment purpose only.
