This position is full-time, 35 hours per week Regular hours of work: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday however, must be flexible to work on occasional evenings and week-ends Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will support the functioning of the Transportation Department by coordinating all aspects of the vehicles and supervising the team of approximately 30 drivers, for safe delivery of transportation to clients and ensuring quality improvement in the program. Required Skills You have a strong supervisory skills, with 3 years experience. A degree or diploma in business administration, logistics, transportation, or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and database applications (Goldcare, Trapeze). Program leadership & coordination experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Strong problem-solving abilities. Strong skills in risk, crisis and conflict management including customer relations. Demonstrated teaching, mentoring & coaching skills. Experience with project management, quality improvement initiatives and the collection of statistical data, an asset. Fluency in both official languages (English & French), and/or other language(s), an asset. Required Experience You have a minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience in Volunteer and Human Resources. You have understanding of employment and Health & Safety laws.
