CDD Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) set up to deliver a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services across the Trust. Synchronicity Care Ltd (SCL) trading as CDD Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Services and was set up to deliver a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services across the Trust. The company is a separate legal body set up to provide a range of non-clinical services, including Procurement, and if you were successful you will be an employee of CDD Services alongside the entire Procurement Team who were transferred to CDD Services earlier this year. The Assistant Procurement Officer is part of CDD Services and is responsible for the provision of an effective, efficient and professional procurement service that delivers on-going cost efficiencies, quality and service benefits through facilitation of Request for Quotation, over and under threshold tenders. The Assistant Procurement Officer will also have responsibility, with the support of the Senior Procurement Officer/Procurement Manager, for the operational planning and prioritisation with an aligned business area, assessing stakeholder requirements throughout. The post holder will support the provision of sound advice concerning successful contracting within a public procurement environment and Trust / or other consortium member organisations. As such, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to learn in a challenging and excitingenvironment. NHS experience is not essential. CDD Services & Synchronicity Care Ltd (SCL) offers its own Terms and Conditions of employment which differ to the national NHS Terms and Conditions.
