Job Description Bynder is seeking an experienced technical leader who can inspire, mentor, and grow an effective team of software engineers in a fast paced, high growth software development environment. Your proven leadership skills, extensive background in software engineering, and passion for collaborative problem solving will be instrumental in scaling our expanding team, processes, and product offerings. This role will provide leadership, guidance, and support to product teams in Rotterdam. Your teams collaborate with global teams based in Amsterdam and Barcelona as well as overseas counterparts in silicon valley. This role requires a hands-on individual that is willing to produce high-quality code while instituting development best practices and driving the team’s success. Drive great execution, work with the team to set clear goals, and deliver against them Recruit, inspire, and develop a high performing and creative engineering team Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective people coach Implement and operate agile development best practices in a fast-paced environment Champion engineering excellence and culture, establish metrics for regular assessment/improvement Qualifications BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 6+ years of hands-on technical development experience Minimum 3+ years of experience managing a cross-functional engineering team Experience working in high growth venture-backed startups Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional Information Opportunity for an exceptional career in a highly dynamic work environment An exciting position in an international agile organization and expansive entrepreneurial freedom Being part of a rapidly growing team of developers, located in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona and California.
