The Opportunity Working in a fast paced and highly collaborative team environment, you will be the conduit of information between the housing and the land development teams. You will also be responsible for Architecture's APS approvals and ensuring the sitings/streetscapes are completed on schedule. Your Key Deliverables Scheduling, Coordinator and Data Entry Assist housing group by advising of necessary land development stages, timelines, and key milestones. Monitor and track work to ensure all siting and streetscape related tasks are completed within the schedule. Obtain all land development documents relevant to the housing group. Ensure all digital and hard copy directories are organized and up to date. Data entry required in Newstar related to lot grading and streetscape plans. Review and approve Newstar APS compliance with lot analysis and architectural control guidelines. Siting and Streetscape Development Coordinate the development of the siting/lot analysis with external consultants Coordinate and review all individual home grading plans (siting and streetscape) for final permit submission. Ensure streetscapes comply with Architectural control guidelines (where applicable). Sales Office / Model Home Responsible for coordination of all documents required for Model Homes and Sales Office permit applications. Coordinate with Municipality on required stages for planning and permit submission for a Model home and/or Sales Office (ex: Minor variance, Site plan approval, Model home agreement, etc.). General Engineering, Managing Internal and External Relationships Review and analyze reports relating to civil engineering documents, surveyor documents, utility plans, landscape documents, acoustic reports, geotechnical reports, environmental reports, traffic studies, subdivision agreements, draft plan conditions, condo agreements, zoning by-laws, etc. for information that may impact the housing group. Develop summary of the various land reports highlighting key items impacting the housing group. Site inspection of challenging grading may be required. Attend departmental meetings, Land development meetings & Operational meetings as required. Assist other internal department staff as required. Liaise with Municipalities in regards to bylaw or application concerns/questions. Maintain positive relationships with industry officials, architectural consultants, developer partners and engineering consultant. Working Drawing Development Understanding of the working drawing development. Assist in reviewing working drawings to ensure builder standards are reflected accurately with the supervision of the production supervisor as required. Must Haves College Diploma or technical certificate in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience Civil Engineering Technology Technician (CETT) or Architectural Technology Diploma or Architectural Technologist member in good standing with the AATO.
