Brocc – your digital marketplace for financial services We are a digital marketplace where private individuals who want to borrow money can connect directly with those who want to lend money. In practice, we offer a platform to exchange financial services – for example, borrowing or investing money – without expensive intermediaries, such as banks. In this way, power is shifted back to the customers, where we think it belongs. At the same time, we redistribute values, so that the customers – not the traditional banks – have more in their pockets in the form of low rates of interest and higher returns for those who invest. Our goal is to use modern technology to create the same shift in the finance industry that has begun and been implemented in other industries, where consumers now hold the power and can more easily exchange services directly with each other. System Developer Are you passionate about programming and a real problem solver? Then you have the chance to work with us! In your role as a system developer at Brocc, you will work with the development of our existing systems and be part of a competent team, where you will have great opportunities to be involved in influencing and driving the development forward in a rapidly growing fintech company. The tasks include solutions for internal business processes, scalability challenges and integrations with third-party systems. We work agile, have close communication, love to share knowledge with each other so that we together can develop into becoming better. The role is about taking a big responsibility for developing the platform further, both on the backend and frontend, but there is a chance to choose the direction if something interests more than the other.  Service-oriented development and system architecture (microservices)  Further development of the platform built with Laravel / PHP / AWS  Development of solutions for business problems, scalability challenges and security risks  Administration and further development of infrastructure  Design/Integration of APIs/Services To succeed in the role You have one to three years experience of having worked with system development, of which at least one year’s specific experience with PHP. You are well acquainted with and have previously worked in accordance with an agile approach. It is an advantage if you have worked with financial or similar services. You have an academic degree in computer and systems science or similar or equivalent work experience.
