About the role Our Area Managers lead by example - making bold decisions and taking action if things are not working. Overseeing 9 of our clothing shops, you will have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of store managers, paid staff and volunteers-encouraging them to bring new ideas and to build their knowledge of the BHF. You`ll be responsible for the achievement of required sales and profit targets as well as connecting with local businesses and the wider community to promote services such as CPR training and Health at Work. This will be achieved through your effective people management and by building effective teams, setting clear objectives and providing guidance. As an influential leader you`ll play a key role by inspiring and motivating your store teams to ensure the strategic aims of the BHF are met. You will be joining an area with an engaged and loyal team that has lots of opportunities to grow and develop further. About you You’ll be an experienced Area Manager who is confident working in a fast paced retail environment. You will ideally come from a large retailer and have excellent entrepreneurial skills with a successful track record. Motivated by the knowledge your hard work will make a life -saving difference, you’ll be proactive, driven and commercially aware. You will have proven experience in coaching and developing a team of Store Managers.
