The job You may have seen football documentaries on Netflix, but the real story will be bigger, and involve many more people from across the Club. The marketing executive (maternity cover) will play an important part in the development, implementation and analysis of multichannel marketing campaigns aimed at both increasing our connection with our wonderful fans, and also improving our commercial reach and achieving our commercial goals. Our marketing team act like an agency to support all departments at the Club with their marketing needs meaning no day is the same. You will work collaboratively with our graphic design team on quality and brand control, you’ll use your skills to evaluate and report on digital campaigns and you’ll work with our media team to develop content for our supporters. What can you expect? Off the pitch, the Club is building a platform for long-term success enabling us to retain the privilege of playing world class football in the Premier League so if you are looking for an easy ride, this one might not be for you! The work will be challenging, the environment will be fast paced, and we’ll have high expectations of you. What we need The successful candidate will have experience across a plethora of touchpoints and channels both online and offline including: Email marketing (preferably with dotmailer) Organic and paid social Paid search (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Collateral development (print and electronic newsletters) You’ll also need to have a good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suit (PS and IL) for design conceptualisation, and Google Analytics for ROI measurement and campaign alignment and retargeting.
