The Brandon House Hotel are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Operations manager to join their team. This senior management position is ideal for someone who is energetic, highly motivated and who is looking to progress their career within a growing company… Objective: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing & managing all aspects of Hotel operations under the leadership & guidance of the GM. Emphasis will largely be placed on all areas of the Food & Beverage and Front of House Departments and that each meet the required standards of quality and service. Additionally; this person will work with the GM as part of the senior management team to optimise profits and increase sales and promote new and diverse business. Competencies / Skills: At least 3 years Hotel Management experience (Same level preferable) High attention to detail & standards focused Highly motivated with a genuine ‘hunger’ for Hospitality Literate and numerate to a good standard Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong Leadership skills with a good customer focus Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall excellent customer service skills Proficient in the use of computer software (particularly Microsoft Word; Office and Excel) Solid time management, organisation and prioritisation skills Proven ability to effectively build, foster and develop a team environment Ability to work pro-actively and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with all personality types (even in adverse situations) Ability to manage multiple tasks and recommend/implement effective solutions Excellent problem solving/decision making skills
