A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to design and shape innovative and creative pedagogical practice in a brand new all-through academy. Having appointed exceptional candidates for the first two years of opening, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is now looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative teacher of Drama to play an intrinsic role in our new all-through academy in Bracknell Forest. Performing arts are highly valued across our academies and have already made a significant impact on the lives of our students. Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 students, who were joined in September 2019 by a further 150 students year 7 students and nursery, through to year 2 students in our two primary phases, KAB and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). Whilst a main scale role initially, there will be increasing opportunities for leadership roles within the academy as the school expands. Potential is as important as experience. The successful applicant will teach across the secondary phase as well as within the primary phase too. Applications welcomed from NQTs For September 2020. Applicants should be excellent teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life.
