Lead Knowledge Analyst - Agile 10446BR Knowledge & Research WHAT YOU'LL DO Agile ways of working are critical principals to designing high performance organizations, and more and more traditional companies are moving towards a more Agile organization. BCG sees the potential to massively increase the size of the business for the firm, based on the size of the cases we have sold and the amount of demand. In line with this growth, several aspects of the business will need to be critically accelerated and focused on in order to effectively capture the opportunity. These aspects include: building the team of both technical and commercial resources that can deliver Agile expertise effectively to our clients, developing a pipeline of reference clients and lighthouse projects, developing IP to productize our offering and setting up robust business processes for the topic. The firm has made significant commitment to scale and commercialize Agile as a business accelerator. It is supported by both the Technology Advantage (TA), People and Organization (POP), DigitalBCG and Knowledge Leadership. Unifying these people and technology divisions is critical to articulating BCG’s vision of the company of the future, helping our clients truly understand and embrace all of the key elements of digital transformation required to drive massive value. We seek a Lead Knowledge Analyst with a passion to grow the business, develop new IP and work on key topic priorities. As with all other Key Digital Programs (KDPs) at BCG, this position also requires an eagerness to be part of a growing and fast-paced global team. Successful candidates will feel comfortable operating in a "semi start-up mode" within BCG. Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities and eagerness to lean in to support team when needed, are also critical for success in this role. Work together with case and proposal teams and provide knowledge asset and expert advisory in Agile at Scale Scope needs of case/proposal teams, problem solve together with the case team to help clients design the new Agile operating model and provide hands-on training and coaching on Agile concepts, values, culture, behaviours and practices Help execute analyses and provide expertise/ insights and materials Support teams by writing material for proposals and selling documents Identify relevant experts and connects them to case and proposals team Occasional direct client exposure during a workshop or case staffing Support the Agile KT Lead in delivering the topic, IP and content agenda around Agile, and in building the topic community Help drive the topic priorities for Agile and oversee knowledge agenda with Agile leadership Develop new ideas to incorporate trends and technologies to ensure we are delivering the best possible knowledge asset/IP Spot knowledge gaps and leads codification efforts (e.g. involved in internal investment initiatives, helps develop knowledge assets/tools/methodologies), support the Data Capability Maturity Assessment product. Manage presence and content on internal BCG website and microsites and participate in knowledge infrastructure projects, surveys, etc. Share best practices within and across teams Monitor relevant news sources, develop and distribute digests at regular intervals Onboard and train junior colleagues who are aligned to Agile Onboard and train when junior colleagues are becoming aligned to Agile Have an ongoing exchange with junior team members, ensure that they are updated on the latest developments and offerings, and provide guidance Help onboard and guide junior team members Help onboard and guide Knowledge Analysts Act as "buddy" to new joiners Lead interns and working students YOU'RE GOOD AT Applying Agile expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, guiding case teams - taking different client contexts into account Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic which is regularly virtual Highly proficient in Agile ways of working Ability to work in a “semi start-up” mode and navigate complexity, ambiguity and changing priorities Proactively managing diverse, senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive Framing, structuring, and sharing IP under the guidance of Agile KT Lead, with the ability to write clearly, concisely and persuasively Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment Flexible, curious and creative, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas Driven, hard-working, and productive YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred, with demonstrated high academic achievement preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering, IT Management, Business Administration (other advanced degrees are accepted as well, e.g. Mathematics, Physics) 4-5+ year first-hand experience in one or several of these topics: Agile principles, Agile at Scale, Agile organization transformation, Agile and its applicability to different functions and industries Deep understanding of technology enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills Very strong detail orientation & analytic capability; excellent written & verbal communications Equally, if not more important to the successful candidate, will be demonstrated ability to proactively problem-solve and strive for impact in challenging/fast moving contexts and situations.
