About Internships at Bosa Our most important offering to students is our culture of continuous learning, achievement, and ownership. We are eager to help students and soon-to-be graduates jumpstart their careers in business and real estate. Interns will learn about the various business operations of a growing real estate firm while also learning about the Bosa history and how the company has evolved into a leading Canadian brand. Although this is an internship, we encourage all students to ask questions, be curious, and build your network. We are always looking for students to join the company on a full-time basis after graduation. About the Role: Bosa Properties is excited to offer an internship position with our Human Resources department for the May 2020 to August 2020 term. The Human Resources Intern will play a key role in the implementation and execution of HR programs and research. You will gain exposure to areas such as recruitment, orientation, employee engagement and other key components of the HR function of a multi-entity company. In this role, you will report directly into the Vice President of Human Resources to execute on top priorities for the team. With the support from the rest of the Human Resources team, you will: Work in partnership with senior leadership to conduct research related to human resources programs and initiatives Participates in and facilitates on-boarding and orientation activities for new hires Ensure all necessary HR forms and documents are tracked and filed accordingly Assist the talent acquisition team with recruitment activities such as phone screens, reference checks, assessment results, and background checks Work on other ad-hoc projects as required such as employee engagement, people communication and career fairs. You are friendly, easy going and you enjoy talking to people. Public speaking is not daunting for you and you have a history of being an ambassador for causes and ideas you believe in. You’re not afraid to suggest new ideas and process in a growing department and will approve any challenge with a positive attitude. Our Must Haves: Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of post-secondary education, majoring in Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resources or another related field Portfolio of HR-related projects in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition will be considered an asset Familiarity with HRIS platforms or Applicant Tracking Systems such as Dayforce from a previous internship or co-op term would be considered an asset Excellent verbal/written communication with the ability to conduct research and draft concise and informative reports based on findings Willingness to be proactive and take ownership of a project from beginning to end Exceptional organizational skills Strong computer skills (especially in the Microsoft Office Suite) How to Apply: Please submit an application (resume and portfolio of projects/schoolwork if available) in one PDF using the link provided by March 6, 2020 at 4:59PM.
