The Claims Analyst is responsible for providing timely, accurate and cost-effective resolution of customer complaints. Preferably banking industry experience (billing, claims). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility Service inbound and initiate outbound customer service calls to ensure that customer complaints are handled in a timely, accurate and perceived as superior manner, by the Boral customer base. Input customer Replacement Orders within company guidelines, completing all applicable direct and supporting data entry into SAP in compliance with Boral procedures for order handling. Provide product availability to customers per department guidelines and negotiate labor and freight cost with customers. Process all Customer Complaints and Credit/Debit Memos within Boral's published guidelines. Work with applicable sales and technical reps to coordinate fact gathering on customer complaints. Utilize product and policy experience to authorize complaint resolutions within approved matrix. Provide all needed claims reporting to Customer Claims Supervisor as required. Perform all other duties as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor / Manager / Director. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Computer skills: MS Office, SAP (preferred) SAP, MM, or SD knowledge and experience required EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE One-year certificate from college or technical school 1+ years claims processing experience required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00 to $22.50 /hour Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications Experience: claims processing and adjusting: 1 year (Required) customer service: 2 years (Required) billing: 1 year (Required) Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Work authorization: United States (Required) Shifts: Morning (Required) Work Location: One location Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Signing bonus Paid time off
