We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to elevate and maintain a safe and highly productive working environment for our growing team. In this role you will oversee maintenance for our two Winnipeg locations (and beyond, as we continue to grow) working to ensure they are well maintained, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors. At Bold, our tempo beats fast, so we’re looking for someone who is agile and can lead the charge in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the ideal candidate is professional, highly organized and detail-oriented. Here's What You'll Do: Audit our facilities with a fine tooth comb, ensuring that our buildings and equipment are in good working condition and are maintained on a regular basis. You won’t wait for a problem to occur - you will be proactive in carrying out regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal working order! Work with external stakeholders such as building contractors for maintenance and repairs, or vendors to order and set-up replacement equipment Contract negotiations for services such as equipment maintenance, janitorial, meal catering and pest control We provide our employees with some cool benefits such as free coffee, beverages, beer on tap, and catered lunches 5 days per week. Your role in this is to keep on top of the beverage, coffee, and beer orders, and oversee/assist with putting out lunch from the external caterers for our Winnipeg HQ, holding 220+ people Oversee building security - we want to ensure that our building, its assets, and our employees are kept safe Be a senior and active member of our Health and Safety Committee Manage the Facilities budget for all of our locations Here's What We Need From You: Desire to get shit done Belief in our core values 2+ years of experience in a Facility Management role is preferred Superior problem solving skills - you will have the ability to find issues and take action. If you don’t know the answer, you will know your resources to find it Solid verbal and written communication skills. You will need to communicate building maintenance updates to the entire Bold team Ability to plan accordingly - you will need to be on the ball stay one step ahead of any preventative maintenance and building inspections Extremely good organization and attention to detail skills. You need to look at every nook and cranny of our buildings to ensure you dot your I’s and cross your T’s Flexibility - you will need to adjust to a super fast pace and constantly changing environment Motivation - you will take initiative to identify opportunities, proactively act, and follow through on your tasks. You will take ownership of your role Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position such as standing, walking and lifting. You won’t be afraid to get your hands dirty with building maintenance and repairs!
