PRODUCT DEVELOPER NEOPRENE (m/w/d) ION WATER Germany To enhance the strength of our team we have immediate openings in Munich for a: PRODUCT DEVELOPER NEOPRENE (m/w/d) ION WATER POSITION SUMMARY The Product Designer / Developer Neoprene is responsible for the designing and developing of innovative products for the leading wind-water sports accessory brand. ION is about challenging yourself, experiencing nature and feeling the force of gravity. We develop gear that is not only smart and innovative, but also transforms our passion into an unique design. JOB DESCRIPTION Market research, trend monitoring and development of innovative ideas/products within the neoprene range Creating color, graphic and pattern concepts in collaboration with our design department Creating tech-sheets and specifications for our manufacturer Managing the sample process from first prototypes to confirmation samples (incl. fitting, testing etc.) Product Management Frequent updates of all product informations into our system Strong communication with our suppliers Close cooperation with our sales & buying department Visiting shops and communicate with shop owners and our agents to get market feedback Presenting product range Frequent travels to suppliers and sales meetings SKILLS Creative and conceptional Good working skills with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Strong organisational and interactive skill Experienced in working with overseas manufacturers Fluent in German and English A relation to watersports comes in handy EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 3 Years+ experience in Product Design / Development, preferably in the sports industry Bachelor‘s degree in industrial design / textile garment technology or equivalent WE OFFER Several trips per year to some of the hot-spots of Kite & Windsurfing X days of beach office per year Possibility to take part in creating the brand image of one of the leading water sport brands in the market JobRad® Working in a nice environment with great people To apply please send your CV and cover letter stating the earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations to: Boards & More GmbH Cordula Thiele (Office Management) Keltenring 9 82041 Oberhaching Email: [email removed] oder [email removed]
