Duties and Responsibilities: Create scaled building designs using Autocad design software Create single-line and three-line diagrams using Autocad Create scaled Solar PV models using Autocad or other 3D software Understand basic electrical theory Conduct site visits to project locations Stay current with new and emerging technologies Design renewable energy systems Complete renewable energy reports Liaise with outside agencies such as municipal building departments, local utility companies Liaise with suppliers and vendors Inventory ordering and tracking Inventory management and staging Commission renewable energy systems Complete commissioning reports Perform Customer Service interactions Critical Requirements For This Position: Experience and Ability Reading and understanding building plan sets Proficient with Autocad Ability to learn new design software quickly Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient with gmail Highly organized and personally motivated person Team oriented Valid Class G Driver's license with no demerit points Willingness to obtain BCIN certification Job Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year Experience: Autocad: 2 years (Required) Education: AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Required) Location: Guelph, ON (Preferred)
