We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for a one-year full-time contract to join our friendly and fast-paced downtown office in London, ON. SUMMARY Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Human Resources Manager is the principle resource for HR related activities. BLUESTONE ADVANTAGES Certified Great Place to Work® Signing Bonus Complimentary underground parking space downtown Employee initiatives, events, and appreciation Employee Assistance Plan Flex hour and remote work program RESPONSIBILITIES Act as culture champion, incorporating BlueStone’s values and mission in all areas of HR Collaborate and provide support to senior leadership and management regarding strategy and employment related issues Provide support, direction, and mentorship to the HR and Health and Safety Coordinator Conduct full cycle recruitment Manage and coordinate onboarding program Manage performance management program including probationary reviews Maintain lost time management system Participate in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures including interpretation and revisions as needed Assist with training and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees Maintain positive working relationships with employees and management team Maintain compliance with provincial employment laws and regulations as well as recommended best practices REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years of progressive work experience in human resources required Post-secondary education in human resources Excellent coaching, problem solving and conflict resolution skills Currently certified or working towards an HRPA designation Must have a valid G driver’s license, access to a vehicle in good working order with minimum liability insurance of $1,000,000. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven skills working accurately with financial and quantitative data Advanced skills in of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Experience using BambooHR an asset HOW TO APPLY Please submit your cover letter and resume to [email removed].
