Assessment of a structure for obvious structural and non-structural hazards for possible repair versus replacement recommendations. Mapping of all the existing infrastructures – for both the zones, Airside & Landside, except carved out assets. Mapping with ground coverage area, coordinates, zoning, identification matrix, and marking on survey map. Identification in terms of – type of structure, height of the structure, no. of floors, usage, lease period etc. Area of each floors of the structure, list of goods at that particular floor. Structural strength of the individual infrastructure – residual life, safety assessment etc. Assessment of equipment/systems for identification, suitability, stability, hazard, control, maintenance condition leading to repair versus replacement recommendations. Condition inspections should be performed under the supervision of a qualified Professional Engineer. The person performing the inspection must be trained to consider repair versus replacement, methods of repairs, energy sensitive materials, working conditions, relative life-cycle economics, sustainment, and greening initiatives in order to provide adequate data to produce a valid cost estimate for each of the Deferred Maintenance (DM) deficiencies identified.
