bloomon is turning the flower industry on its head – for the better. How? By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal collections using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. A huge challenge, because we focus on profitability and need to take our business control department to the next level to support that. This means setting up financial planning and business control and challenging the management team on KPIs. You will be responsible for Develop the financial planning and business control function Professionalise cash management and optimize working capital Act as finance business partner to support growth and efficiency Assist defining and challenge business KPIs and dashboards Streamline processes to become more efficient and get reporting faster Our ideal candidate has A drive to turn a traditional industry upside down 2-5 years of work experience in finance (as financial or business controller) Bachelor or university degree (preference controlling and or accounting) Working knowledge of business control, financial planning, and cash management Natural drive to optimize processes and drive out inefficiencies Fluent in Dutch and English Strong communication skills, structured, analytical and action oriented Additional bloomon benefits Daily fresh and healthy lunch prepared by our lovely lunch chef a BBQ-worthy rooftop terrace at our Amsterdam office Working in a young, flexible and entrepreneurial environment Access to bloomon Academy to develop your professional skills Friday drinks and social events And of course monthly beautiful fresh flowers!
