The Opportunity We are seeking a Training Coordinator to collaborate with multiple departments to deliver core program training, assist in developing training plans, support area leads in identifying areas of opportunity enhancing our employees competencies and ensuring key metrics are achieved[SB1] through training compliance. We’re looking for a go-getter who has the vision, experience and passion to contribute to our culture and success through Training. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement training material in consultation with departmental subject matter experts; Assist in developing a comprehensive on-boarding training curriculum and provide training plans and initiatives based on the Training Need Identification/Analysis received from Operations/Quality; Participate in planning and communications between various departments and training personnel, and ensures specific training requirements are identified and addressed; Actively monitor staff interactions to ensure personnel has understood the provided training compliance with established training requirements and address any training issues and concerns as identified; Will monitoring and updating training modules for accuracy and relevance; Design innovative learning solutions and resources which utilize blended methods and technology; Provide support for new “best in practice” training and professional development initiatives. In conjunction with the Training Manager, assist in continuous training compliance checks and updates Qualifications Post-secondary education with an emphasis on education or business administration is preferred; 2 years’ experience in training development or facilitation in a corporate environment is required; Strong, planning, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must possess good presentation skills; Ability to interpret Legislative requirements and incorporate them into training Understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies is an asset.
