The Responsible Gambling team is at the heart of giving all Betway customers a safe, sustainable and fun environment to gamble in. The Responsible Gambling team must deliver a proactive approach to monitoring for customer risk, industry leading customer-facing tools, and a tangible internal and external culture to support the programme goals. Purpose of the role: The Customer Interaction Specialist ensures Betway is proactive in detecting customers exhibiting at-risk gambling behaviour and interacts with those customers to encourage sustainable gambling. The Customer Interaction Specialist must have expert knowledge in responsible gambling and customer interaction methodologies. They will be responsible for ensuring the business uses data to identify potentially at-risk customers, and for developing methodologies to encourage sustainable gambling through effective interactions by automated systems or the customer-facing Responsible Gambling team. They will be accountable for measuring the effectiveness of these interactions at reducing gambling-related harm. You will be responsible for: Maintaining expert knowledge of responsible gambling regulation, research and best practice across all of Betway’s operating licences Creating and maintaining a roadmap for the development of the Customer Interaction Programme (CIP) Assisting in the implementation of any software required to support the CIP Testing and developing new methods and channels for interacting with potential at-risk customers Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of interactions with at-risk customers Creating CIP KPIs and reporting on progress Ensuring all policies and procedures relating to CIP are up to date, as well as owning the change control process for the CIP Providing the business with commercially astute advice and support around customer interactions, based on expert knowledge and empirical evidence Working with the Responsible Gambling (RG) Operations Manager and Learning and Development team to ensure CIP staff have adequate coaching and training Developing and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, such as the Account Management and Analytics and Insights teams Supporting the RG Operations Manager and Head of Customer Welfare in delivering the strategic goals of the RG team This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
