An exciting new role within Finance Team has come up, they are looking to recruit for a full time Finance Manager to support our Reporting and Compliance agenda. The role will report into Taylors Finance Director and be a member of the Finance Leadership Team. The post-holder will be responsible for overseeing our internal management and external statuary reporting. The role will also ensure an effective and robust control environment is in place. Main Responsibilities include, but not limited to: As a member of the Finance Leadership team (FLT), influences, contributes and supports the delivery of finance team objectives. With the FLT, works to ensure a high performing, motivated finance team Works across Finance to deliver the monthly management accounts, ensuring the accuracy of the numbers alongside insightful commentary. Responsible for the management and associated controls relating to the balance sheet and cash flow forecast. Leads the annual year end audit, liaising with the external auditors and ensuring all audit points and control weaknesses are addressed. Ensures adequate financial controls are in place, to safeguard our assets and the accuracy of the financial statements and ensure compliance with finance related policies. Works with Group Finance to ensure Taylors is compliant, both externally e.g. HMRC / SAO and internally with our Group Finance Manual. To be successful in the role, you will; Candidates must hold an ACA accounting qualification with 2 years PQE experience, working within FMCG is preferable but not essential. Additionally, you will demonstrate: Strong technical accounting background and familiar with UK GAPP/FRS102. Working knowledge of UK business taxes Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to design and deliver presentations The ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders The ability to coach and support others The ability to translate Finance to Non-Finance colleagues To apply, please send a CV and covering letter outlining your interest before midday on Monday 2nd March 2020.
