Bendon is a world leader in intimate apparel and an iconic New Zealand company. We were founded in 1947 by Ray Hurley, who revolutionised the lingerie industry through quality and innovation, creating a design philosophy that has grown stronger throughout our 69 year history. Ray's breakthrough design abandoned the heavy boning and strong seams that restricted women's movement, resulting in lingerie that would 'bend on' their bodies. That is how Bendon got its name and vision; to be close to our customers for life. Globally Bendon's brands are distributed through over 4,000 doors across 34 countries. Our global retail partners include well known department stores such as Macy’s in US; Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols in the UK; Myer and David Jones in Australia; Farmers and The Warehouse in New Zealand.
