Who are you? Well, aside from being CA/CPA qualified and having 10 years' Professional Services experience under your belt, do people generally describe you as: Smart, articulate and commercially switched on Considered, deliberate and methodical Comfortable stating your opinion and taking the lead Comfortable in and around people Enjoy reasonably structured environments, with good processes and policies Enquiring - a good asker of questions Action-oriented, with a preference to resolving things Responsive to client needs but happy to stand firm on issues Confident taking the lead A believer in 'numbers don't lie' - yet still good with your intuition If so, we might be just right for you. The role? In broad terms - You'll be responsible for overseeing/leading a team - mentoring, training, reviewing their work and providing tax and business advice. Strong knowledge in tax and accounting relevant to SME's, HNW clients, Trusts and SMSFs will be paramount. More specifically, you'll: Review and manage senior staff member’s workflow Achieve monthly team KPIs Exposure to XPM, Xero, MYOB, Class Deploy your in-depth knowledge on key tax areas such as: Division 7a Small Business Entity (SBE) and Base Rate Entity (BRE) tax concessions Experience with small business CGT concessions Prepare and review of financial statements and taxation returns Structure for tax effectiveness and asset protection Tax consulting and business advisory Management of internal and client communications Managing client relationships and own client base Business development and marketing On-boarding new clients Exposure to complex and high profile clients Why would you?
