About us: Barsys (barsys.io) is a thriving venture-backed robotics company that has developed and commercialized a line of cutting-edge automated cocktail machines We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our Operations team at its New Delhi location. This position will focus on manufacturing, logistics, distributor orders, production planning, and general inventory management. The candidate will work closely with members of operations, sales, production, and warehousing, and will be responsible for maintaining an efficient supply chain. The ability to multitask and problem solve on the fly is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the transportation of goods from overseas manufacturing and component partners to retailer distribution centers and/or warehousing partners Responsible for understanding of tariffs, import fees, and correspondence with the legal department over import requirements Monitor current levels and forecast future inventory needs of current products and issuing purchase orders to manufacturers to maintain acceptable levels of inventory Develop product sourcing schedules and timelines based on brand marketing plans, wholesaler order windows, and retailer schedules Oversee all warehouse and transportation processes including inventory, shipping, and receiving, returns processing, and material handling Develop a process for inventory management across multiple stock locations Create a physical warehouse inventory management system and ensure consistent stock levels on-site to fulfill all customer demand Monitor and maintain inventory; facilitate/process all warehouse receipts Manage daily reconciliation of inventory amongst locations and within the production floor Monitor monthly growth to project warehousing needs, staffing and space Pinpoint operations setbacks and order issue trends to promote cost reduction Develop KPIs surrounding inbound and outbound on-time delivery Manage RFPs and develop relationships with courier services to ensure low domestic shipping rates Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Operations and Production teams to execute packaging programs cost/time effectively Requirements: A minimum of 10+ years of experience with direct experience supporting and leading engagements in the Manufacturing, Transportation, & Logistics/Supply-Chain sector The ability to drive programs across supply chain management & execution, Transportation planning, Route & Load optimization & execution, warehousing & distribution, and global trade management Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior executives to make positive decisions concerning capital allocations Ability to analyze and share recommendations to improve/modify existing processes/ systems Bachelor’s Degree required Master's Degree in Business/Management highly preferred Job Type: Full-time Experience: logistics: 10 years (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Location: New Delhi, Delhi (Required) Language: English (Required) Industry: Logistic Support
