Roles & Responsibilities Job Description Maintaining relationships with existing mines Procurement of imported Iron Ore Explore potential clientele or iron ore related business activities Collection and analysis of Iron Ore market information Develop and implement key Iron Ore sourcing / origination strategies to actively broaden the supplier base Working with the Iron Ore sales and marketing team to gain understanding of market intelligence and providing intelligence to the research team to form trading strategies Assisting the Managing Director to manage the physical Iron Ore trading book and originate Iron Ore Negotiating terms and contracts with clients Liaising with the derivatives, sales and freight teams to provide a smooth service to clients Requirements Degree or above, major in Ferrous Metallurgy, Mineral Resources, International Trade or other relevant courses Must be proficient in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken Familiar with the procurement, sales and logistics of Iron Ore Good communication, negotiation and people skills Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork Experienced in doing procurement of Commodities
