It is part of the Bakkavor Meals sector which has eight factories in the UK.. The Role The production team is vital to our business. Not everything can be done by machinery and that’s where YOU come in! As our business’ key selling point is handcrafted products it is essential that we have hard working committed people working within our team. The typical day of a Lead / Team Operative involves working in a small team to all achieve a common goal working closely with Management, Production Operatives and Quality Control to achieve the best we can and supply the customer with what the standard of product they require. We manufacture lots of different products within the business; we make over a diverse range of products so there is lots of variety. Tasks can vary within the business such as In feeding and topping a product, feeding the product through a flow wrapper and disposing of waste all using a clean as you go process. There is a real chance of progression within the business for a self-driven individual or for the people not so ambitious it provides a base and job security for people happy to stay on the line. It’s a platform to build a solid work history from a large multinational company who pride themselves on giving people a chance to reach their potential. We require all applicants to have a basic understanding of English Literacy and Numeracy (ESOL2)
