An opportunity has become available to work in the Finance team to drive the performance of the business within the North Region, building on existing foundations to enhance the service offered by the team. Based at the regional head office in Warwick and reporting to the FP&A Manager, the role is responsible for providing meaningful information to a variety of stakeholders within the UK and Irish businesses, across multiple product groups and business units. Specific responsibilities include: Supporting the FP&A Manager and Bridgestone Ireland Finance Business Partner to analyse and understand drivers of performance and identify risks and opportunities Supporting in the creation of the annual budget and quarterly financial forecast Providing key reports to stakeholders in the business in a timely manner, including Finance, Operations and the Leadership team Supporting the business operations and commercial teams with financial information to evaluate business cases for both new business initiatives and key changes Supporting with analysis on profitability drivers across the business, including customer, channel and product profitability analysis Sharing relevant tools and lessons learnt with the finance community, becoming an expert in the Corporate reporting solutions and a voice into the Head Office Working with the Shared Service centre in Poznan to provide key analysis to support the month end closing process. Key skills required to be successful in this role will include: Demonstration of strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, looking beyond the numbers to identify root cause and find solutions Excel skills to an advanced standard, PowerPoint skills to a good standard Good presentation skills with the ability to present in a clear and succinct manner Ability to build strong relationships based on integrity, trust and respected financial judgement Ability to create and maintain strong ownership of financial reporting in the business Confidence to challenge and coach as required Key experiences and attributes: Experience within a multinational company or FMCG business an advantage Questioning mindset, willing to learn and interested in how technology can enhance the Finance service offering Experience with Business Intelligence solutions and Tableau visualisation tools an advantage A self-starter with a background built within a dynamic environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to express opinions clearly and the and ability to translate financial matters and communicate to non-financial management is essential. You will promote and display AGILITY, COURAGE and OWNERSHIP in your behaviours, demanding the same from your key stakeholders to ensure decisions taken drive the performance of the business.
