KEY CUSTOMERS: Internal – All the functions (CEO, Deputy CEO,IT, HR, Admin, Compliance, Operations, Sales and Marketing) External - Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Advisors, Country Analyst in AXA IM Reporting to: AVP - Finance Role & Responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist in planning and budgeting process of the company for senior management. Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financials and other submissions Prepare management reports including JV submissions, industry reports, branch profitability reports & profitability reports Assist in smooth implementation of the accounting and management reporting system Prepare and file various statutory returns viz income tax, - GST etc within the stipulated period in liaison with the tax consultants Evaluate and provide recommendations to facilitate timely and accurate reporting, improve processes, and improve cost effectiveness of operations and procedures. Lead implementation as appropriate. Ensuring finance controls with respect to payments and handling branch related finance activities. Assist in finalization of company accounts and coordinating with the auditors during the audit process. Knowledge of IND AS and ability to handle transition to IND AS Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required. Conduct Ledger Scrutiny on a regular basis and preparation of periodic statements for monitoring expenses/ledger balances/inter company balances and payments. Overseeing the responsibilities of Officer – Finance with constant supervision of all activities like Petty cash management, Bank payment management, TDS, Bank reconciliation etc Qualification & Skillsets Chartered Accountant is preferable. Industry: Financial services Job Locations: Mumbai Traits Required: Strong analytical skills. Good presentation and written communication skills. Who can apply: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting and financein a mutual fund /insurance/private bank/wealth management setup would be a added advantage.
