Business Overview: The Hispanic Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are also significant contributors for the business and for long standing relations with clients. Job Purpose Contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives of the Procurement & Facilities area, through the performance of the assigned functions and responsibilities, guaranteeing the correct administrative management of the bank's resources. There will be a particular focus on Procurement aspects (provider management, KYS, …) Duties and Responsibilities: Procurement: Lead the Request for Proposals (RFPs), including developing the bid documents, managing the bid process while ensuring fairness and compliance, evaluating proposals and negotiating contracts with suppliers in order to obtain the best contract price and terms to protect the bank. Work with Legal on contract terms and issues leveraging from existing group or regional contractual framework whenever possible. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while observing quality sourcing controls. Track all aspects of the sourcing process, from initial business requirements, followed by management validation to final engagement execution. Collaborate with management and various business heads in order to provide inputs on budgeting requirements based on purchasing needs Provide feedback on the Procurement policies and procedures as per group and regulatory requirements Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments Strengthen Supplier Risk framework, implementing the necessary processes, controls and tools Manage Supplier Risk Assessment and monitoring process (Know Your Supplier) Ability to create result-driven reports measuring performance of Procurement Front, Middle and Back Office activities Conduct negotiations with suppliers obtaining benefits in price, quality and services Assure appropriate documentation is recorded (e.g., risk filtering and assessment results, due diligence materials). Manage the renewal of contracts and policies of suppliers according to the expiration schedule of each according to the group's policies. Support the renewal process of BNP administrative policies, as well as the issuance of new ones when required. Monitor quality of services and satisfaction of its customers or interested parties. Support the activities of the different suppliers that work with the Bank, facilitating logistics for the presentation of offers to employees, in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures. Facilities and Others: Lead the analysis and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Run monthly reports as required by the area. SAC- Financial consumer service system. Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications Professional in administrative, industrial engineering or related areas with experience in Procurement in the financial sector. (Master’s degree preferred) 5-8 + years’ experience in procurement preferred. Preferred experience working in the financial industry and in procurement. Expertise and experience handling third parties contracts and relationships Interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with various teams of professionals and liaise with internal and external groups/ individuals, locally, regionally and globally. Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple undertakings at the same time and focus on priorities. Strong communication and analytical skills. Strong work ethics and ability to work with confidential information. Ability to analyze complex situations in a timely and effective manner. Critical thinking to assist in evaluating supplier information. Ability to understand legal codes and their application in the procurement process Experience with supply management tools/ software including procurement and project management programs. Knowledge of standard database management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), inventory management. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to effectively write and speak in English.
