We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer who will join our experienced team and support systems engineering activities throughout the lifecycle with our global customer base. This role is permanent and applications are invited for both full-time and part-time working preferences. The main responsibilities of the role include: User and System level requirements development and management, acceptance and test planning and management; Attendance at trials for platforms and systems; System modelling and design; Developing architectures across the enterprise using standard methodologies and frameworks (MoDAF, TOGAF). What are we looking for? You will have some initial engineering industry experience, ideally supporting the delivery of complex systems in a regulated sector. You will thrive on new challenges, be motivated by variety and have a strong desire to build on your experience and become a systems engineering expert in a consultancy environment. To be successful in the role you will ideally have: An understanding of the Systems Engineering V model and experience in one or more of its stages. At least 2 years relevant industrial experience of engineering complex systems, ideally in a regulated sector. An awareness of different systems modelling approaches and their application. A relevant degree such as mechanical / aeronautical / systems / electronic engineering / science / mathematics or equivalent experience. An interest in systems engineering and systems thinking and a desire to work within this specialist domain. The determination to further your career and gain Chartered Engineer status. You will be: A trusted individual who can perform when working as part of a team or when acting independently with support from colleagues. Articulate with good presentation and written communication skills. Systematic and logical in your approach to problem solving. Able to understand complexity and present it in simple terms.
