Our Corporate Accounting Department needs an entry level Staff Accountant (1-2 years of experience) to work closely with them as the organization grows. The Staff Accountant position reports to and supports the Accounting Manager in the following key responsibilities: Support Month-End close activities Analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, preparing general ledger entries and necessary adjustments Reconcile bank and cash accounts in a timely manner Support payroll related matters, payroll journals, payroll taxes, payroll withholdings, conduct regular audits, etc. Prepare regulatory filings Assist CFO with financial reporting and analysis as required This position is located in Oakland. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field of study.
