Roles & Responsibilities One08 Pte Ltd is based in Singapore and act as Principal Mandate or facilitators for commodity deals & Distributors and agents for niche maritime, mining and heavy industry products. Also representing an established manufacturer of electric vehicles. We are also partnering with established players in the Maritime predictive analytics field, VR and AI technology as well as building a start-up in Nepal. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager who has a proven track record in leading strategic, cross-functional, business and technical project implementations in multiple geographies. This role will be dealing with our customers based in Nepal, India and the APAC region with a deep involvement with developing our Nepal operations. Primary Responsibilities and Activities: Lead and manage IT projects as part of an integrated program management Proactively communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to elicit and analyse requirements, reconcile conflicts, deconstruct high-level information to deliver the appropriate system Engage multiple stakeholders for demand planning and project prioritization Manage cross-projects activities dependencies and trade-offs Conduct procurement exercises such as tenders and requests for proposals to obtain solutions and services for the delivery of the project Work with Vendor IT application development teams, infrastructure, architecture and information security to support the delivery of projects Vendor contract management to review contract terms and conditions to understand obligations in a contract and areas of risk Closely follow industry trends to identify new technologies that provide business value. Align project deliveries and IT solutions with IT Enterprise architecture Ensure proper project reporting and documentation Present reports and project updates to all stakeholders Job Requirement To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be: At least 8 years of IT project implementation experience, from managing a project from inception till implementation with consistent track record of driving successful IT projects Strong communication ability including written, verbal and presentation skills. Presentation skills should encompass the ability to structure, design and deliver effective presentations in a meeting environment Proven ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at all levels of management in the organization Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions. Can technically lead software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility design, development and acceptance testing Able to interact with the BAs and testers for the project during the project lifecycle Experience working in multiple industries with specific experience in Maritime, Manufacturing, healthcare and other automation systems. Experience working with a start-up is a MUST. Experience working onsite with Clients. Prior experience in managing a team of over 20 people including remote teams. Ability to multitask and re-prioritize and effectively lead deliveries based on ever changing business needs Experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies is a must. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with first division Having a MBA is an advantage Microsoft/Oracle/PMP/CITPM certified is an added advantage Experience working in Nepal and India will be looked at favourably but is not a requirement. Must have experience with the following Project Management Tools - Agile methodology using Scrum/Kanban. Language requirements Must speak English. Spoken Nepali is preferred (to be able to communicate with our Nepali Clients and Operators). Spoken Hindi and Mandarin are an advantage but not necessary.
