Customer Support Technician, Permanent (Axiomatic Technologies, Canada) Axiomatic Technologies is a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic controllers and power management converters for industrial customers. Engine control, machine control as well as control of various hydraulic systems are a few of many applications in which our controllers are trusted by customers worldwide. Axiomatic operates out of Canada and Finland. Axiomatic Technologies’ products are used in a wide variety of applications due to the flexibility of the hardware and software architectures. As such, it is required to support the customer in customizing and tailoring the functionality of the product to suit the specific needs of the application. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with technical support experience in a hardware/software environment, excellent communication skills and who can work effectively independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities Supporting the customer via e-mail, phone, and client visits when necessary Troubleshoot issues reported by customers Establish a strong partnership with our customers by ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction through a strong communication process Assist Engineering department to conduct verification and validation tests Create custom application-specific configurations for customers by having a clear understanding of product features Requirements 3 to 5 years of technical support experience in a hardware and software environment Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical reporting and customer interaction Experience working with electronics Work well independently and in team environments Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, CANopen, LIN, Ethernet is considered an asset Job Type: Full-time
