Based at our poultry farm in Crossgates, Fife an opportunity has arisen for a temporary general farm worker. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competent poultry husbandry skills, such as feeding livestock, checking watering systems, weighing birds, monitoring bird welfare/behaviour, bio-security protocols and general farm maintenance. Full training will be provided, although previous poultry experience would be advantageous. The working pattern is 39 hours Monday to Friday plus 18 weekends (8 hours on a Saturday & Sunday). We offer excellent terms of employment. The starting salary is £21,687.85 with the potential to rise to £23,653.60 per annum. Must have access to own transport due to location of farm and start times. No accommodation provided.
