The company requires a Senior Consultant to join its team in a key role focused on delivering consulting projects in the region and exceeding client expectations through excellence in project execution, client management and people management. The role will include responsibilities primarily as a project consultant, together with in-house responsibilities as a subject matter expert. Main duties of the role include; Deliver IT, business process, global development consulting and benchmarking projects to exceed client expectations. Prepare client IT, business process, global development consulting and benchmarking project proposals and presentations. Conduct client executive and senior management interviews to identify and determine requirements and timescales. Conduct and oversee data collection and data modelling for IT, business process, global development consulting and benchmarking assignments. Produce specific client engagement deliverables including financial modelling, business cases, IT and business strategies & assessments, requests for proposals, statements of work, consultancy reports, presentations and workshops. Work directly with clients as part of a larger team of consultants, depending on the project this could include leadership of a small team and even independent work with the client. Prepare and run client consulting workshops. Development of company-wide methodologies. Train new starters and mentor junior consultants and analysts, as needed. Prepare research reports and generating original research on such topics as IT and business processes, for external publication (such as journals and the company website) on behalf of the company and specific reports for clients. In addition to ongoing client engagement commitments, the Senior Consultant is also expected to actively participate and contribute to corporate-level practice development initiatives. All personnel in Avasant are expected to contribute a minimum of 40 hours a year to support the activities of its philanthropic arm, Avasant Foundation. Our ideal candidate will have: Mandatory 5 years of management consulting and/or operations management experience in a consulting firm or professional services group in outsourcing service providers Experience managing client relationships with senior-level clients Bachelor’s degree from a top-rated school required preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science Preferred Consulting experience in at least some or many of the following areas: Process mapping and documentation, problem analysis and reporting, solution design in the areas of business transformation and strategic sourcing, Market scanning and analysis Financial and Risk Modelling Strategic sourcing – strategy, developing RFP statements of work, financials, governance and service management, direct hands-on experience in architecting, executing and managing transition planning and support activities and Business Process and technology assessment Managing large budgets and ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost of engagements Support of intellectual capital in new growth areas Support for proposal development Education: Master’s degree in Business or related field Additional qualifications in Design Thinking, Lean, Six Sigma Additional Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Exceptional interpersonal and client skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives Demonstrated leadership, client management, project management and business development skills Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel across EMEA, with the potential for travel to other regions To apply: Please submit your CV and a covering letter by close of business on closing date above.
