Description: Primary Job Role: Design, conduct and evaluate a variety of training programs; participate in the testing of new software releases and products; assist in the development and modification of Credit Union operational procedures. Functions and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver training courses; coach and mentor employees to achieve expected proficiency levels; evaluate and document performance; serve as a technical resource and assist trainees in handling member transactions and questions; provide additional coaching and one-on-one training as necessary. Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times consistently demonstrating Credit Union WHY and adhering to the Employee Handbook. Deliver friendly, caring service to internal and external members. Actively train all credit union employees. Coordinate and schedule training time efficiently. Develop and implement work plans to achieve goals and objectives; utilize resources effectively; participate in evaluating work processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvements. Provide knowledge assessments and competency evaluations to prove employees understand and are able to perform their job. Assist with developing and updating training materials, including but not limited to; employee training courses, procedures and help guides. Encourage training session attendees to provide constructive feedback to improve processes. Test updates to systems and products; analyze transactions to find errors and determine if procedural changes are required. Provide refresher training based on recommendations from management. Develop teamwork and collaborative relationships within the Credit Union. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: Basic Requirements: Must be able to practice effective presentation skills both in the classroom and online. Must be able to pose good presentations skills and deliver information clearly and effectively. Must be able to identify learning styles and adapt training and coaching to meet the needs of individual trainees. Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience conducting classroom training. Employee development or training experience in an adult setting preferred. Education: A two year college degree in education, training, HR, or related field preferred. Relevant experience in conjunction with other education will be considered.
