As part of the Aditya Birla Group, our role is to produce specialty pulp products (dissolving grade pulp) for the group’s textile industry. The Nackawic Mill has an annual production of 175,000 tons; an onsite integrated Chemical Plant and Chip Plant. Nackawic Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Security Relief Responsibilities Include Plant protection (facility access, fire monitoring and dispatch, traffic control) Ensure compliance to existing policies for those entering the site (swipe system, PPE, etc.) After hours First Aid Coverage, Emergency Response Act as point of entry at the mill facility Oversee safety orientation of new hires and contractors Qualifications Minimum 2 years post-secondary (preference will be given to security or law enforcement programs) First Aid / CPR training (First Responder would be considered an asset) Background in the security field would be considered an asset Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively & work collaboratively with internal and external customers/employees Ability to work shift work Why AV Group NB Inc.?
