Physiotherapy Services ACFI-related Pain Management Treatments Our Physiotherapists are Aged Care specialists who understand the treatment and documentation requirements of contemporary aged care. We conduct comprehensive resident assessments, provide CHC 4a & 4b treatments and manage all aspects of your ACFI compliance. Rehabilitation & Mobility Programs Maintaining functional ability is the key to staying active and independent. Our physiotherapy programs facilitate early discharge from hospital and assist residents to maintain and even improve their mobility. Achieving positive results increases resident confidence and promotes general wellbeing. Exercise Classes By designing exercise classes to suit all levels of ability, we motivate, challenge and engage our residents. With a specific focus on resident mobility, strength and balance, we strive to improve practical long-term resident outcomes. Fall rates, depression and socialisation are all positively influenced when residents see improvement in their ability. Manual Handling Training & Care Staff Education We provide comprehensive Manual Handling training for clinical and non-clinical staff members. This includes annual competency certification and induction training for new employees. We also provide a range of specialised education modules for falls prevention, acute clinical response training, skin tear prevention, advanced wound care and behaviour management. Falls Prevention Programs Our clinicians will develop a complete program that enables you to monitor all falls and target specific areas for improvement. We’ll implement a range of tailored interventions to reduce resident falls and track progress through detailed analysis and monthly reports.
