Position Type: Full-Time Department: Education The Department of Education at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, invites applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Education or Special Education beginning August 2020. Responsibilities: Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, primary teaching responsibilities would either include undergraduate courses in Foundations of Education and Human Relations, or in Special Education. Potential online graduate courses would include online graduate courses within either the Master of Education or the Master of Education in Special Education program. Qualifications: Earned Doctorate or ABD in Education, Special Education or a related area; three years of successful K-12 experience; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues; and have a preference for those candidates who have teaching experience at the college/university level in both face to face and online courses. Salary: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Closing Date: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
