Who Are You The Director, HRBP - People and Culture is a critical role to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. This role partners with more than one functional group with a dedicated focus on a collaborative, high-performance culture and exceptional candidate and employee experience. As the HRBP you will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: performance and compensation management consultation; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, employee engagement, and talent management and recruiting consultation. You may also carry out additional responsibilities to include organizational design, employee development initiatives, recruiting strategy development, and training and communication initiatives. On a Typical Day You Will… Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include recruiting, employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and leadership development, and organizational design consultation; Navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes using education, exceptional listening skills, collaboration, balance, and the application of creative and nimble solutions; Act as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation – striving to lead mutual processes to best practice status; Partner with leadership to align HR and Recruiting strategies to business strategies; Provide thought leadership around the process of candidate selection and experience; interviewing; job offer; background check; and candidate on-boarding details; Ensure optimal levels of retention by developing processes to identify, develop, and grow key talent; Ensures that appropriate performance management philosophies, programs, and practices are implemented and executed in support of a culture that values accountability and high performance; Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with peers to develop solutions; programs and policies, using data to help drive decisions; Establish accountability and measure success through data; Lead and/or support annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc.; Evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs, employee relations, etc. What You’ll Need Each day brings new and exciting opportunities and adventures. To Be Considered Your experiences in the following areas are desired: Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements; Proven client management and business literacy skills, with ability to influence at all levels; Excellent interpersonal skills and polished communication and presentation skills, with an ability to speak confidently with individuals of all levels within an organization; Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues; Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment; Ability to set high personal goals and work independently; Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks; Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues; Demonstrated project management skills and problem solving strengths; Proven mastery in Office 365, specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint; If you’ve read this posting in detail, we’re interested in speaking with you; Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business or technical related field; Five (5) to Eight (8) years of HR and experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both Recruiting and HR Generalist experience; Multi-site location client support experience a plus; Mortgage Servicing, financial services, and financial/real-estate industry experience a plus; PHR/SPHR desired; Up to 20% travel required.
