POSITION SUMMARY: The VP, International Marketing, Training & Education will be responsible for developing commercial and go-to-market strategies, and directing the Clinician and Internal education function for the International business at the company. The International business encompasses all markets outside of the United States. The person in this role is accountable for working with stakeholders across the business, including Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, Operations, Finance, and Quality Systems and Regulatory, as well as managing people in the International Marketing function. This position will work closely and collaboratively with their U.S.-based colleagues, as well as the International Sales team, to execute the responsibilities for the position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Define International business plans and market access strategies for all non-U.S. geographies. Manage the International Marketing team, including resources based in Amsterdam, but also field-based marketing and market development resources. Manage the Clinician Training and Internal Education team. Ensure that the training & education function meets the needs of the business expansion strategy for all International markets. Analyze both existing and new markets for growth opportunities, and perform market segmentation and analysis to understand and prioritize those growth opportunities. Be an external-facing representative of the company with medical societies, customers, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders. Work closely with the Health Economics function to execute market access strategies in key geographies. Work closely with U.S.-based colleagues to plan for launches of new product offerings. Subsequent to new product launches, manage user preference evaluations and engage with customers to provide feedback to the Product Management and R&D teams. Assist the Product Marketing and Strategy function with obtaining feedback from key opinion leaders on future product ideas, concepts, and prototypes. Develop positioning, messaging and market segmentation strategies across all non-U.S. geographies to include trade advertising, physician education programs, and patient advocacy outreach. Work closely with the U.S.-based teams to develop product demos, selling tools, and competitive comparisons to drive customer preference. Perform competitive research and analysis and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders. Deliver highly tailored presentations, demonstrations, datasheets, white papers, and case studies that highlight product value proposition. Work with the International direct sales team and international distributors to structure and negotiate agreements, on-board and train new distributors, and provide Marketing support on an ongoing basis. Manage International tradeshow and event strategy, working with U.S. colleagues to ensure enforcement of the company’s global brand standards. Manage the International Marketing budget.
