Bachelor's Degree Aspirus Health Ventures (AHV) is a wholly owned health plan subsidiary of Aspirus, Inc. and has profitably grown to over 30,000 lives since January 2017. We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations who will be responsible for the administrative operations of Arise Health Ventures and is an essential "utility player". The person directs the day to day activities of a staff at commercial and Medicare Advantage Third Party Administrators, and Pharmacy Benefit Managers and collaborates with all Arise Health Ventures functional areas. Ideally, this individual will be based in Wausau, Wisconsin, but with offices located in Wausau and Monona, Wisconsin, this individual could work in either location. Travel between offices will be required. Responsibilities will include: Developing and executing an operational strategy and approach Determining which business and tasks to manage directly or delegate to WPS and Aspirus through Service Agreements Managing direct operations of Aspirus Arise, (i.e., IT and HR vendor, lease agreements, office space planning, communications and marketing, etc.) Working with WPS Business Team Leads to ensure all Service Agreement requirements are met Working with Aspirus to ensure all Service Agreement requirements are met Leading product development efforts for Aspirus Arise Overseeing Account Management retention staff and functions Participating in external meetings with important customers and prospects Taking an active role in peer groups, community functions, and other external opportunities as a public representative of Arise Heath Ventures Qualified candidates will possess: Bachelor's degree Experience with Medicare Advantage Insurance operations highly desired. 3-5 years of leadership and operational experience preferred. Ability to maintain, update, and oversee a customer relationship management system.
